My Style Matters offers various educational talks and workshops to help bring awareness to cancer and cancer risk reduction in an effort to help to improve the quality of lives for cancer survivors, caregivers and the community at large.

Additionally, we participate in community outreach events and join forces with advocacy groups to help address policy issues that affect cancer care.

BREAST HEALTH MATTERS™

This Informative educational program is designed to educate, motivate and activate teen girls and women to take action with their breast health.

At our Breast Health Matters™ workshop, you will learn helpful way to avoid toxins in your life, cancer causing factors, self-breast exams, and simple steps to take care of your breast to prevent -and detect if needed- cancer growth.

FOOD 4 LIFE Plant-based Cooking Class

According to the National Cancer Institute, research shows that as much as 33 percent of cancer risk may be related to diet. To help combat this dis-ease, My Style Matters is bringing the Food for Life (FFL) interactive plant-based cooking program to the community we serve. This program is designed to help you learn the right food choices that can help manage cancer treatment side effects, reduce the risk of developing cancer as well as a recurrence of cancer. ELIMINATING TOXINS AND EXPOSURES

Discover the importance of using non-toxic beauty/personal care products and learn how to minimize their exposure to substances that can potentially affect their health.

ADVOCACY AND OUTREACH

According to the National Cancer Institute, the number of cancer survivors is expected to increase to 20.3 million by 2026.

ADVOCACY

Through our partnership with advocacy organizations, survivors and supporters are trained to use their stories to educate communities as well as influence recommendations and policy issues that impact cancer care.

OUTREACH
My Style Matters continues to meet the needs of the communities we serve through community connection, outreach, and engagement. Whether it is a community outreach event, company health and wellness day, or expo, you can find our team there, sharing their knowledge, passion, and resources with members of the community.
